October 20, 2018

Austin, Texas – October 20, 2018 – Kory Enders qualified 2nd for Race 1 of the Formula 4 United States Championship Powered by Honda season finale at Circuit of The Americas yesterday afternoon in difficult wet conditions.

The Sugarland native spent the entire twenty-minute qualifying session fighting in the top three of the 33-car field. Despite the very wet conditions, Enders drove his #55 Ligier F4 DEForce racing machine to the top of the timesheets. Today’s 10-lap or twenty-minute race will begin at 5:30 p.m. CST. Enders fastest lap from Race 1 will determine his starting position for Race 2, which goes green at 10:15 a.m. on Sunday just hours before the Formula One United States Grand Prix.

“We finished in second in qualifying. The car was fast all day and DEForce did a great job preparing the car. Unfortunately, the weather was pretty bad today and we had to struggle through that on top of it being a little chilly. It wasn’t too bad in the car except for when I couldn’t see down the back straight but other than that I can’t thank the team enough and to everyone who came out.”
